You can park at the P+R car park near the Kleinstübing railway
station. It is usually empty on weekends. From there you should be
able to see the location of stage 1 from the valley. It is on
the rocky peak to the south.
Geparkt kann beim P+R Parkplatz des Bahnhofs
Kleinstübing werden. Von dort sieht man auch schon zu Stage 1
- Es ist der in Richtung Süden zu sehende Felsvorsprung.
The location of stage 1 is the "star" of this cache. It can
be reached by a steep hiking path as well as various climbing
routes. Even if you take the path will have to climb a few meters
before you reach the summit cross. You don't need any special
equipment, but you should know what you're doing. Wear hiking boots
& don't go on wet days. I recommend to use this
picture.
Der Ort von Stage 1 ist der "Star" dieses
Caches. Man kann ihn über einen steilen Wanderweg sowie über einige
Kletterrouten erreichen. Selbst wenn man den Wanderweg benützt muss
man ein paar Meter klettern um den Gipfel zu erreichen. Man
benötigt zwar keine spezielle Ausrüstung, sollte aber wissen, was
man tut. Wanderschuhe sind angesagt und nasses Wetter ist zu
vermeiden. Ich empfehle dieses
Bild zu verwenden, um Stage 1 zu finden.
In the gap between the cross and another rock tower look for a
film canister under some smaller rocks. I have added the necessary
information also to the summit log (2 January 2012).
Zwischen dem Kreuz und einem weiteren
Felstürmchen befindet sich eine Filmdose unter einigen kleineren
Felsen/Steinen. Die nötige Information habe ich jedoch auch dem
Gipfelbuch hinzugefügt (2. Jänner 2012).
Stage 2 is in the summit area of the Pfaffenkogel. Look for
a white translucent plastic box. A little bit above the cache
location there is a great picknick site!
Im Gipfelbereich des Pfaffenkogels befindet sich
Stage 2, eine durchsichtige Plastikdose. Ein wenig oberhalb
des Verstecks befindet sich ein netter Platz für ein
Picknick.
Besides logbook, pen, cachenote and trinkets, the cache also
contains a map of the area, where I have marked a possible way back
to the car.
Neben Logbuch, Stift, Cachenote und den
Tauschgegenständen, befindet sich auch eine Karte mit einem
Vorschlag für den Rückweg im Cache.
