A simple two-stage multicache especially for motorcycles or bikes (but can be of course also done by car) north-west of Graz, more or less a drive-in at N 47°1R.AIN’ E 15° 14.BOW’ beside a narrow and partially steep street.
Years and centuries ago there was mining-industry in this area, the heraldic figure of the village Übelbach still refers to it: it shows a silver-dice above a stream.
Go from Graz via Kleinstübing to Großstübing, at its west-end at N 47°11.560’ E 15°14.023’ turn right following the signpost “Silberberg”. After 500 m turn right again and follow the narrow street. At the first sharp bend a path turns off at N 47° 11.930’ E 15° 13.623’.
Leave your bike or whatever there and follow the path for 100m, you will soon reach the entrance of a forsaken and closed exploration-mine behind a wall, today only the storage-room seems to be left.
Find the missing hints somewhere around there (no need and not recommended to enter the dark place – also forbidden!).
Now go further on and find parking-space at N 47°12.884’ E 15°14.479’, the cache is not far from here and can be found in a forest.
Afterwards take a rest (especially if you came by bike!) and enjoy the view.
Happy Geocaching!
The cache was rehidden on 27th Aug. 2005.
