Da Gsulla Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Geocache Description:

Nice multi-cache which will lead you to a transmitter station on top of the hill of "Gsollerkogel" (N 47°9.028' E 15°19.046') or pronounced "da Gsulla" in Styrian.

Estimate a comfortable walk at 1 to 1 1/2 hour, very beautiful to be done especially in autumn.

Go from Graz via Gratwein or Gratkorn towards Rein but turn right 2 km before at the signpost "LKH Enzenbach". Drive up there: in front of this hospital for lung-diseases you will find enough parking-space around

N 47°09.189'

E 15°17.690'.

A white signpost next to the parking-space shows the way to the "Night-ambulance": follow it for a few metres.

In reference to styrian dialect you now have to catch the forest farmer-boy and ask him the following question:

"What is the year of your last name?" If you get the answer write down that year.

From this point find the way marked as "11 A" and walk uphill. Enjoy the views to Schöckl and the mountains around till you arrive at the transmitter station.

Do not destroy anything otherwise you will be punished pursuant  to Austrian criminal law. Hmmm......  but which paragraph of the law refers to such a punishable act?

Now sum up the year and the paragraph and get WXYZ (e.g. the sum is 3584 then W=3, X=5....).

The cache, a tupperware box is hidden at:

N 47°09.XZW'

E 15°18.YZV'

whereby V=Y-W.

To get back take the same path, those who prefer a longer walk could follow the small southern path further on downhill (take a map with you).

Have fun and good luck!
