The 9 km hike goes along the Grosse Muehl, the name-giving
river of the Muehlviertel. Starting point is the Praemonstratenser monastery
Schlaegl, which is also accessible by train (starting from Linz Urfahr station
- direction Aigen/Schlaegl - stop Schlaegl). The trail is well suitable for
Mountainbikers too (some exercise presupposed).

The lower number is the latitude. Always stick with the
Große Muehl. After stage 2 you'll come to a bridge. Change the to the Right bank.

Die circa 9 km lange Wanderung führt entlang der Großen Mühl,
dem namensgebenden Fluß des Mühlviertels. Startpunkt ist das Prämonstratenser
Stift Schlägl.
Der Ausgangspunkt ist auch mit der Bahn erreichbar (Ab Linz Urfahr Bahnhof -
Richtung Aigen/Schlägl - Haltestelle Schlägl). Trittsicherheit und
gute Kondition sind nicht unbedingt notwendig. Der Waldweg ist auch für
Mountainbiker gut geeignet (etwas Übung vorausgesetzt.)

Die niedrigere Zahl ist der Breitengrad. Halte Dich immer an die Große
Mühl. Nach Station 2 kommst Du zu einer Brücke. Wechsle die Uferseite!
