These caches are my pick for some of the most interesting to do in the "common" areas that people visit in San Francisco (e.g. North of 280ish). I'm partial to views, so many of these involve one. If you are more adventurous, and have access to a car for your visit, see my off-the-beaten path SF list.

			A fun webcam cache at Pier 39 -- lots of good food, shops, and the launching point for most of the Bay cruises/ferries.
		GCGYKW	Conservatory of Flowers
			Well worth an afternoon of wandering in Golden Gate Park.
		GCF025	Early Bird gets the Cache!
			A neat, hidden lookout point in the Coit Tower-Embarcadero area
		GCF7A2	Escape From Alcatraz
			If you're going to visit The Rock, make sure you take the information for this cache with you! One of the best virtuals I've ever done.
		GCZCPK	Franciscan Complex - Alcatraz Terrane
			Mmmm, educational...
		GCHRJV	House of Peace and Grace
			Grace Cathedral is well-known for it's social work, but the church itself is beautiful. It is also located on Nob Hill, down the street from the oft-visited Fairmont Hotel. A Bonus: Labrynth.
		GCBD0A	Laughing Sal's
			Bring quarters! This place is interesting from an historical point of view, and fun for the whole family. Near Fisherman's wharf-Ghiradelli Square, and not to be missed.
		GCFB3C	Lombard Street
			What?!? You were coming to SF and not planning on going down the famous crooked street?
		GCNZDE	Los Pechos de la Choca
			A visit to Twin Peaks is usually in order for most tourists.
		GCRAH9	Pool of Enchantment
			Visiting the MoMA? Point to this cache, and have a seat.
		GCX8ZQ	S.F. Cable Car - Taylor Street Turntable
			Another newish cache I haven't found, but if you're doing touristy things, you'll definitely wind up in this area also.
		GC30CB	Sounds of the Bay
			When you're done with the real touristy places, find your way to the Marina district. This was probably my favorite caching experience in the City.
		GCP2T8	Sutro Baths
			This may be more off-the-beaten path, but if you've got transportation or are braving the MUNI lines to come out and see the Westernmost portion of the city, I suggest this cache -- and the food at Louis'. What a view!
		GCM8Y9	The Gate Promenade
			And when you're visiting the famous bridge...
		GCK08Z	Union Square
			The best(?) shopping in the City, well, at least the most upscale, is in this square. Its nice and close to most hotels, so out-of-town folks tend to enjoy it.
		GCMD9B	Watermelon Hill
			Since you'll probably be close to this one, visiting that famous crooked street, why not come over and see the steepest street in SF?
		GC136C	WPArt: Lillie's Cache
			Most tourists find themselves drawn to Coit Tower. If you end up liking this virtual, there are two other WPArt virts in the city that have great murals as well.
