Most excellent view any time of day or night from the trail to this cache.

A Druid's View

The hike for this cache is excellent making this one of the easier Chugach Mountain summits to reach.  No scree, no hands required, nothing ridiculously steep.  The view from the top is terrific featuring the Chugach and Alaska Ranges.  If 11 miles and 3600 feet of elevation gain aren't enough, one can make a loop by going over the top of Near Point before climbing the summit ridge of Wolverine.

Very scenic approach to this cache from Prospect Heights trailhead.  This was our 500th cache, found with Tundra Tim, Northwes, and accompanied by the cache owner, Scobey.

One of our favorite Anchorage parks and a great place to start a walk on the coastal trail.  We recommend walking south down the trail to Westchester Lagoon and back.  You can do Scobey's "Super Sized" before turning around.
