A list of the Oldest still active geocaches in the world, NUMBERED by placement/age except for 0 and 00. Data compilation accurate as of 3-18-2010
Please remember when viewing this list that most old caches, the ones that have outlasted all others are not in a city, so the city/town/area listed here are maybe just a proximity I've used to give you some ideal of were they are located.
PS. This list is always a work in progress, caches are archived or temporarily disabled and/or resurrected, logs are added or deleted, almost every day but I hope this helps showcase the pioneers of our sport and gives those interested in the older caches a starting point that is pertinent and current.
