Ultrasonic seam welded GORE-TEX shell fabric eliminates needle holes and reduce weight because it uses less material. The removable fleece liner has goose down insulation on the back of the hand-take this liner out when conditions aren't so frigid. Another removable layer has a grippy palm, so you can dig with less interference.
