Excellent quality
This is the highest quality backpack cover I have seen (it's also the heaviest). However, it is not large enough for my 6550 cu in Kelty backpack. So, I went with an Outdoor Research Extra Large lightweight pack cover. The OR did fit with room to spare so it's by far the largest cover out there (I did quite a bit of research). I narrowed all of them down to two and had to order both and return the one that didn't fit. In spite of the increased weight I would have kept this cover if it would have fit. Seems like it would last a very long time. The OR is closer to parachute material so won't last as long.

Excellent fit over fully loaded BMG pack
Fits well over fully loaded BMG pack (6500ci), even with 2 Carcia bear cans attached to the outside. Compresses nicely into it's own sack.

nice rain cover
The (large) rain cover worked great with my 85L Osprey pack with room still if I had to put items on the outside of the pack. The picture isn't the same as the product however. I gave it four out of five because it still felt big on my fully loaded pack. Otherwise a great product kept my pack dry and clean.

Good material, cinch
Just got back from a 5 day trip in the Rockies and used this cover every single day. It is made of a tough (and pretty thick) Cordura material. I have a 70L MH pack. The Large fit pretty well with plenty of extra room to spare. you could easily fit a sleeping pad under it. The cover stays on the bag via a drawstring at the bottom of the cover (about the middle back of the hipbelt). I often used the cover even when it wasn't raining so that when I set my bag down on the trail it wouldn't get covered in mud. I only gave it a "4" rating as it could have been a little lighter I think. Oh, at least on my cover the MH logo is on the bottom of the bag and is pretty small (unlike the large, top mounted logo in the picture)
