Petzl Sarken Crampon w/ Wire/Lever Lock

If you're climbing variable, mixed terrain, the Petzl Sarken Crampon w/ Wire/Lever Lock, that attaches quickly with wire toe bail and heel cam, is the foot spike of choice. The configuration and length of front points offer personalization with the ability to be modified from mono to dual-point, or asymmetric to symmetric. The points are tapered for excellent purchase in ice with tooth forged front points for precise placement. The second row of points are angled at 45 degrees forward to support and reinforce placement. Small points for heel step and instep use are complemented with four teeth for stability while descending facing downhill. Two front wire positions allow for varied sole thicknesses and asymmetric shapes of technical boots. Designed for excellent penetration in hard ice and stable front pointing on mixed terrain, the full power Sarken crampon attacks waterfall and alpine routes with ease, provides support on steep snow, and offers efficient glacier travel. Antisnow plate included.
