great emergency piece
the low weight and small size of this pulley is it's best attribute. i pack it in my rescue equipment bag when i kayak to use in Z-drag setups. plus it is made of plastic so there is no maintance to it. wonderfully simple piece of gear!

great, light, and affordable
This little pulley works great with my BD biners. Everyone should carry 2 of these for rescues.

Nice
Very lightweight and simple, and an incredible value for a rescue pulley. Add a couple of Tibloc's with it, and you have the lightest, easiest gear for any glacier rescue/escape.
