Salomon Boy's Fierce Jr Snowboard

A sure cure for disappointing hand-me-downs, Salomon's Fierce Jr. isn't a toy--it's a performance Salomon snowboard redesigned in kid-friendly proportions for easy flex and turning. Salomon didn't build their smaller Fierce line exactly like the adult-sized snowboards because the same components wouldn't result in the same sort of flex and pop under smaller riders, but all the of the best freestyle functionality remains completely intact in these compact sizes. The Fierce Jr. features a rugged-but-lively Aspen wood core for enhanced durability and resilient ABS sidewalls. Despite these durable features, the Fierce Jr. retains a long-lasting, snappy flex through a series of internal biaxial, low density fiberglass strips. Salomon uses this special low density fiber design in snowboards that are small, light and intentionally designed for extra pop--but the Fierce Jr. also has a forgiving quality that stiffer snowboards often sacrifice, so it can be an excellent platform for progression. Beneath everything is Salomon's P-Tex 900 base, a low-maintenance surface that's finished with a medium stone finish that improves glide in all snow conditions.
