Mowry has long been a favorite of mine. In the past 16 years I have been visiting Mowry all but a few signs of the town have vanished; however there are still some attractions left to see. There are lots of foundations & signs of mining activity , a rock building, some small adobe ruins, & a small grave yard that many do not know about. Mowry attraction was placed to share its location with others. Less than 20 people were buried there and only a few graves are still well marked. Although there has been an effort to place new markers for the missing ones I could see on my last visit. Enjoy the cache/area & be sure to visit Mowrey Lode cache in the area.
