A walkway starting from SH23 between Raglan and Hamilton
Caution - track is uneven, includes some steep parts and steps. Can be slippery when wet. Good walking shoes are recommended.
Although the walkway continues through to Old Mountain Road, and also Limeworks Loop Road, the cache is located within 5 to 10 minutes from the road. Uphill.
There is an interesting narrow cutting on the walk.
Cache is a 400ml camo painted Sistema container, located around 1 metre off the track, uphill. GPSr reception is difficult due to tree coverage. Cache is placed where tree canopy is less than other nearby spots.
A sharp bend, and small water course running through a culvert under the track will indicate arrival at cache area.
