With a GPS receiver and internet access, you are ready to explorec
and hunt for a "geocache". Learn the basics necessary to enjoy this
eco-sport including suggested equipment, GPS units, the website,
how to search for a cache and types of caches. Program will include
searching for the regular and a few temporary caches hidden on
site. You will enjoy the thrill of the hunt, but the real discovery
is the countless locations of natural beauty and historical
interest you will find that you never knew existed. Families are
encouraged to participate. Please dress for the weather. Workshop
will include both an indoors and outdoors portion. If you have a
GPS unit, please bring it (not required).
