Grab your favorite sweetie and head for this micro cache placed in honor of Valentine's Day (even though it will be there for much longer).
This camouflaged micro cache is hidden off a fairly well traveled, delightful trail in the Superstition Mountains near Lost Dutchman State Park. It is outside the state park, and can be reached from trailheads inside the park as well as a variety of trailheads and parking places off First Water Road which is just past the entrance to Lost Dutchman on Hwy 88.
It IS a micro cache, so please bring your own writing instrument and a pair of tweezers might be helpful. Please restore the cache to the way you found it so that others may have as much fun in finding it as you did. Since this is the desert; the usual warnings to watch out for biting, stinging, poking, pinching critters and vegetation apply.
This is our second cache and although not as clever or devious as some we’ve found recently, we hope that you enjoy the hunt!!
