Jordanelle State
Park
Jordanelle State Park is located in a picturesque mountain setting
near Heber City. The park offers an array of recreation
opportunities near the Wasatch Front. Camping, boating, swimming,
fishing, and hiking are some of the activities to do at this very
popular park. The park offers two recreation areas, Hailstone and
Rock Cliff.
Hailstone is a large developed campground and day-use area on
the west side of the reservoir, and is a favorite location of
boaters and RV campers. Jordanelle Marina offers boat rentals and

Rock Cliff Recreation Area is located on the southeast corner of
Jordanelle Reservoir. Nestled in the tall cottonwoods on the Upper
Provo River, Rock Cliff offers visitors a quieter experience. Learn

The Cache
Stage one: The park entrance station. After you pay your fee check
the sign to begin the challenge, it will have the next
coordinates.
Stage two: View of the Osprey. The Provo River feeds the lake
that feeds people, plants and animals.
Stage three: River Close Up. Listen for the sound of the river,
follow the sound and your gps and it will lead you to the next
point.
Stage four: Safe and sound learn all about the area.
You can park in the nature center parking lot or at the
trailhead of the Three Rocks Trail. Please do not leave trade
items in the cache (travel bugs are okay). Just take a small
souvenir and sign the log book. Stop back often to check for other
souvenirs.
