Geocache Description:

We always wanted to place a cache in an old mine, and finally found our chance.

The posted coordinates are for a park sign. Across the parking lot is a fenced area with several scoops used for mining marl here. (Waypoint 1 and the location of our Earthcache). At the posted coordinates and Waypoint 1 find information that will lead you to the actual cache location a short walk away:

The cache is at: N 49 11.AB W 121.4C.DEF

A = To organize an interpretive park tour call 604-Axx-xxxx OR the park opens at A am.

B = There are 4 digits welded on one of the Scoops (5???) – add the digits together (example: 1+2+3+4 = 10)

C = One scoop has a brand name on it. How many letters in the brand name?

D = How many thousands of dollars damage to this park did the January 2015 ice storm cause?

E = How many words in the park name, excluding the "Regional Park" part.

F = How many fence posts around the scoops?

Careful with the math.

Enjoy the walk. Stay on the trails at all times. You do not need to step off the trail to find this cache.

Dogs are not allowed in the park due to the many birds and other wildlife. We suggest you also look at the nearby Earthcache requirements before going out to the final location of this cache. https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC11X09_cheam-lake-earthcache
