Tucked away in the beautiful town of Steilacoom is a wonderful park called Farrell’s Marsh. This marsh is a 64-acre wildlife refuge with many trails.
History: back in 2007, I could not pass up the opportunity to place a cache or two after correcting a “DNF” (GCG5P4 Marshy Marsh Cache by Schoney & Siclopticprobe). The dogs love playing in the woods so I made a set of 3 caches which went all the way around the lake.
Currently: 2 of the 3 caches are active. The path no longer goes all the way around the lake. The military fenced up 'their side' in the Spring of 2015. You can't complete a circle so Quiet Time #2 needs to be moved.
