This cache along with 5 others is located within Ponderosa Pines Campground with permission of the owners Kirk and Phyllis They have asked that Geocachers park at the gate and walk to the caches in order to keep traffic down in the campground. Also they don't want cachers coming in after 8:30 pm. Thank You and have fun!
You can walk down to the bottom of the campground.
Walk past the cottage and follow the path around the second lake. If you don't want to bushwack don't try to go completely around the lake. The path is only good for about two thirds of the way. The cache is located long before the going gets tough. Enjoy the area.
