Geocache Description:

Parking coordinates: N 44° 07.110 W 069° 55.521 (South Greenleaf Woods Rd.)

Please do not do this as a night cache

There will be a trailer on your left and a blue bronco across the road from the trailer. Pull straight in until you can not go any further without going into the old road. Be careful not to pull in to far you may get stuck in the old road.

This is a great little woods walk. It is easy walking on an old Maine road that was used from the 1840’s up until it was discontinued ion the 1920’s. This can be accessible in the winter because it is a little ways off a snowmobile trail. I would not try it in deep snow unless I had snowshoes though.

It helps to stop once and a while so the GPS can catch up due to tree cover once and awhile.

Boots may be needed to get to this cache because of a wet and muddy road.

The cache is in plain site at this time. We are working on getting an ammo can in the future. Right now it is in a coolwhip container with a plastic bag around it. It has lasted through the whole winter and the real bad rains we received without a problem. Please reseal everything until we can get an ammo can out there.
