A journey to the Australian mainland's most Southerly Lighthouse
Take a hike down to a place where the wind never stops blowing,
It is the dominant force in the area, It sculpts both human architecture and activity and the environment around you,
The cache is located in a prime example of the power of the wind.
Take a wander around the lightstation, history abounds with many interesting information signs to read.
You can stay overnight in the lighthousekeepers cottages - fees apply.
The nearest camping is Roaring Meg campsite 6 kms away.
It is possible to walk to this cache and return in a day - but you need to be fit.
Why not do it overnight and stay and enjoy this magical place.Bring some friends - some cottages can accomodate 12 people,
