This cache is part of the
M.T. Promises series.
Be sure to make a note of the clue contained on the log.
The cache is dedicated to my father, Bill, who visited this arch many times
during his 80 years of hiking in the Wasatch Mountains. The arch is located
close to the very popular Desolation Trail, but not visible from the trail.
The cache requires a short, difficult scramble and bushwhack of about 200
feet to get to.
Enjoy the hike and this
special place. Thanks to lesdubois for assistance and company when placing
the cache.
Update June 2023: Bumped up the Terrain rating due to the final scramble
being more overgrown. Also added a trail waypoint which is likely the best
place to head up from the trail.
