Located in French Creek State Park
Placed in memory of my friend Al, a father, a teacher, a coach, and a friend to hundreds of kids in northern Chester County. He was an environmentalist, an Orienteer, and a French Creek naturalist, who worked with kids year round until his untimely death. There is a faint trail leading up the hill near this cache that is a result of his many trips from the nature center to his woodland classroom, and the cache location is in an area where he often took the kids. Unfortunately Al never got to geocache, but I'm sure had he been around when it started, he would have joined us in the woods. Consider bringing a kid along for this one. Yes, it may be a bit of a challenge, but I know Al will appreciate it.
