Geocache Description:

This cache is near a small lake among pine trees. Like most of the lakes in this area, the water level has been dropping for the past several years. But you will see lots of stumps near the shore and a few that are still in the water. At one time the water must have been low for many years in order for those trees to grow where they did.

The cache is an ammo box within sight of the lake. There is a logging road at N46.22.044 W091.34.535 so you won't have to park on Hwy 27. You can bushwhack in from there or an easier route would be to drive or walk down the logging road about a quarter mile, walk south to the lake along a game trail and then head for the cache. This is good blueberry country too!
