Kätkö sijaitsee luontopolun varrella, Öjenin luonnonsuojelualueella lähellä Vaasan keskustaa. Öjen kuuluu vanhojen metsien suojeluohjelmaan, ja alueen puusto on paikoitellen lähes 200 vuotta vanhaa, luonto vaihtelee kangasmetsästä soihin ja rantalehtoihin.
Kätkö on suunnilleen luontopolun puolivälissä, ja edestakaista kävelymatkaa parkkipaikalta kertyy n. 4km, polun kokonaisuudessaan kiertäminen kasvattaa kokonaismatkan noin viiteen kilometriin ja kannattaa ehdottomasti! Auton voit jättää parkkipaikalle koordinaatteihin 63° 4.183' 21° 34.465' ja polku alkaa koordinaateista 63° 4.129' 21° 34.003'
Jos patikointi ei kuitenkaan innosta, on polulle kätköpaikan läheisyyteen yhteys myös viereiseltä pikkutieltä, jolloin selviää reilun puolen kilometrin tarpomisella. Tämä yhdyspolku alkaa koordinaateista 63° 3.931' 21° 32.308' ja tiessä on parikymmentä metriä sen jälkeen levennys johon voi jättää auton.
Kätkörasia on muovinen 0.4 litran pakasterasia. Kätköpaikka on melko pimeä, ja rasian löytäminen saattaa edellyttää päivälläkin taskulamppua ja/tai kopelointia.

The cache is located along a nature trail in protected forest of Öjen near the center of Vaasa. Öjen belongs to nature conservation programme for old growth forests, and the oldest of it's trees are almost 200 years old. The nature on area varies from dry conifer forests to wetlands and coastal groves
The cache is near the midway point of the trail and distance from parking lot to there and back is about 4km, going around the entire trail increases that to about five kilometers and is heartily encouraged! You can leave your car at parking lot located at 63° 4.183' 21° 34.465' and the trail begins at coordinates 63° 4.129' 21° 34.003'
If you're not interested in hiking, there is a connecting path from a nearby road which decreases the required plodding to bit over half a kilometer. This connecting trail begins at coordinates 63° 3.931' 21° 32.308' and about twenty meters after that, there is an expansion in the road you can leave your car at.
The cache container is 0.4 liter plastic box. The area it is hidden in can be dark even during daylight and finding it might require a flashlight and/or feeling for the box with your hands.
