This island is undeveloped (accept for the fence running down the middle?). During some seasons this end of the lake is weedy and gooey, making paddling difficult. It can also be tough to paddle in the winter.
This is the forth in a series of island caches placed south of the river. The terrain rating will be easier in the winter. Make sure the ice is safe. A life jacket is a good idea year-round.
No motor boats allowed on this lake, but there are canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats can be rented for 3 to 6 dollars per half hour.
