CACHE IS NOT AT THE ABOVE COORDINATES
I've been a bit concerned about my geocaching buddy Team QWERTY whom I haven't seen on the trails much this year and I thought it was about time to get him out of "his house" with a tribute cache (or two?).
Team QWERTY is one of our trusted boys in blue... stripes that is (and a good friend that I've had the pleasure to know since 1992 when we shared copious adventures in the Black Forests of the Motherland).
As a Postman he knows a thing or two about stamps and postage, so this should be a cinch for him. Not just anybody gets a puzzle as a tribute, but heck, he's getting off easy compared to Sagasu!
Every time I reflect on this sport and how I got started, I come back to that fateful night last October tagging along with QWERTY on three of the simplest and least rewarding caches in town which, I suppose, led to the s|s transformation. It almost reads like a comic book story. And the saga continues...
In 2006, the Postal Service came out with a series of Comic Stamps based on some of the DC comic book characters. It's a fun little collection of stamps that is no longer available unless you want to order them on-line. Soon to follow is a set of stamps based on Marvel characters... but that cache will have to wait just a little longer.
