Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The name you see above is the abbreviated name of the cache.
The real name of the cache was going to be "The cache that
definitely has the longest name of any cache in Ames, Iowa, the
United States, and quite possibly the world!" It was going to be a
cache that would bring caching fame right here to Ames, Iowa.
Cachers would come from all over the country, maybe even all over
the world, for the opportunity to log the cache with the longest
name in the world.
Unfortunately, geocaching.com limits the number of characters one
can use for a cache name. Well, it's still, to the best of my
knowledge, the only cache in Ames that uses the maximum number of
allowable characters. Thus, I have included a certificate of
achievement for all who find this monumental cache.
In order to unlock the certificate, you will need some information
from the cache location, so pay close attention as you search for
this cache. The password to unlock your certificate of
achievement is the last word on the structure that the cache is
hidden on. The password is case sensitive. Use all lower case
letters.
Certificate of Accomplishment
You still need to sign the log in the cache to get credit for the
find at geocaching.com. The certificate is just a bonus.
