La cache è nascosta in uno dei più bei golfi della Toscana. Per incoraggiarne la visita completa è una cache multipla.
The cache is hidden in one of the most beautiful gulf of the Tuscany. To encourage a complete visit it is a multi cache.
Baratti è un'antica città toscana, l'unica costruita sul mare dalla civilizzazione Etrusca.
Fin dall’inizio l'insediamento nel golfo era sorto per favorire la lavorazione del ferro che proveniva dall'Isola d'Elba. Una strada panoramica diretta verso la roccaforte di Populonia corre a fianco di una bella pineta . Sulla spiaggia la sabbia è piuttosto grossa e la sua peculiare caratteristica è quella di assumere in alcuni tratti riflessi blu-argento . In spiaggia ancora si possono trovare i "rosticci", residui della fusione del ferro. Adiacente al golfo si trova anche un importante parco archeologico.
La cache è localizzata lungo la strada verso Populonia nel muro di sinistra.
Per calcolare le coordinate si parte sulla spiaggia (42° 59,426’ N – 10° 30,435' E) dove una sorgente d’acqua riporta un numero “AABB”. Le coordinate della Cache possono essere calcolate come segue:

Baratti is an ancient Tuscan town. The unique built on the sea by the Etruscan civilization.
Since the beginning Baratti was mainly dedicated to the iron mineral processing coming from the Elba island. A panoramic road run alongside a beautiful pinewood toward the citadel of Populonia . On the beach the sand is quite thick and its peculiar characteristic is to have in some part of it a bleu-silver reflection. In the beach can be found the “rosticci” remaining from the iron casting. In the gulf is also located an important archaeological site.
The cache is located along the road toward Populonia in the left wall.
To calculate the cache coordinates we have to start on the beach (42° 59,426’ N – 10° 30,435' E) where a spring of water shows a number “AABB”. The cache coordinates can be calculated as follows:
