Burrell Creek Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Little Adventures: This is a great area. The cache is hidden at the end of the pavement beside a campground. There's other forestry-type camping in the area. The problem is Grand Forks seems further away these days because work circumstances have changed. And there's very few cachers that come up this way. Thanks DJash99 for picking up the cache container.

Geocache Description:

Drive 45 km north of Grand Forks, up the North Fork Road, to Burrell Creek Recreational Site. It’s at the end of the pavement and then across a small bridge.

The trails go through fence line gates, down to the water, and on to where Burrell Creek joins the Granby River. The hide location is a short bush-whack off a main trail. The terrain is rocky and no fence lines need to be crossed. It’s near a short steep trail but the access is easier from other directions.

The cache is in a plastic peanut butter jar. When hidden it contained the following treasures: wood car, crystal, jacks, magic dice, cards, plastic lizard, key chain, plastic gorilla, rubber ball, pin, bear bell, wooden nickel, bike bell, plastic dog, and a special FTF prize.

The GPS reading here was excellent.

Watch out for Muggles on the road above!
