Geocache Description:

The road into the Siphon is dirt. You don't need a 4x4, but I don't think I'd take the family car.

The Siphon is about 3200 feet of 8 to 10 foot steel-rivited pipe. Water passes through the inverted Siphon by it's own pressure, the intake being higher then the outlet. The 10-foot pipe through Dam 2, near it's base, serves as the intake for the Huntington-Pitman-Shaver conduit ( Tunnel 7)

To get here you can take the road from Tranquility and continue down the hill, or there is a little better road at N 37 13.223' W 119 11.508' that will take you there also.
