Let's hear it for Jim52! The first geocacher in Atlantic Canada to
reach 5000 finds!!!
It's PARTY time!!
August 25, 2007 at 12:00 noon!!
In case you haven't been paying attention, our friend Jim52 is
closing in fast on #5000 and this event is for that very occasion.
Here is some background info from the cache page GC13DMT that
was hidden in June to lead up to this event.
This will be something to celebrate! Jim52 is almost at 5000 and
we are all very proud of him! The first in Atlantic Canada!
The cache is in place. It's in my front yard at #157 Phillips
Drive.
As many already know, Atlantic Canada's most beloved geocacher and
genuinely nice guy is well on his way to passing 5000 finds in
2007. Not only that, he has 164 excellent hides to his name
too!
So, I took it upon myself to help out and plan Jim's 5000th.
Unfortunately for him, he's not allowed to find this until he has
found 4999.
Cher Bear has been saying for ages that she wants to have a shindig
for the geocaching crowd. This is her big chance.
The cache is on my property. The container is a regular sized ammo
can with small traders, a log book and a book to express your good
wishes and congratulatory comments to Jim. Don't forget to sign
this book! Feel free to leave calling cards, etc.
So now we have our date and time. And I've got the place
