Part E of The Walnut’s Cracked Series takes you to Hickory Run
State Park. This cache is for the kids! In order to FTF this cache,
you must be a family with children all under the age of 10. All
children must be able to walk on their own to the hide. If your
child requires a stroller, backpack, or needs to be carried, you
cannot FTF this cache. If you do not have children or bring them
along, you cannot FTF this cache. Finally, you must post a picture
of the child(ren) at/near GZ if you are FTFing the cache. The
reason I am doing this is because I DO NOT make caches for kids and
families. I like to set-up hikes for my caches and make them hard.
This one is the exception for this series. Got it? Good. After a
family FTFs this find, anyone can look for it and log it. Park
nearby at N 41? 02.609 W 75? 41.124. You can walk along the road
until you find the trailhead east of parking or enter near the lake
here. Families with younger children should find the trailhead at N
41? 02.688 W 75? 40.990
Cache contents are very kid-friendly. First step, find the
container and log it. Secondly, and only if you are participating
in The Walnut’s Cracked Series, you need to write down the numbers
for part E on the lid. Return the cache as found. Have Fun, bring
an extra pair of shoes just in case, and Good Luck!
