How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
A .5 mile walk to the cache includes a fishing trail and may require light bushwacking. You will encounter the typical woods, river bottom, and adjacent river hazards. During high water this cache may not be accessible and at times the game trail may be covered requiring wading or a detour.
I suggest this is NOT a cache to be hunted after dark. This cache is located adjacent to a Cedar Rapids park. The cache contains a log only. Please use discretion when hunting and replace the cache as found. Use caution and hunt this cache at your own risk. Park at N42 00.140, W91 41.041.
UPDATE April 08: The required park point for this is gained through access from Mohawk Park. Please do NOT attempt any other routes as they would require trespassing and/or crossing an active rail line.
Note: Please use the indicated park point and begin your walk. Although you start out on a gravel road, you must soon leave the gravel and move through the woods. If you come to an area posted “No Trepassing” you have walked well past the necessary access. Do not enter this posted area.
