This cache is another of a series of caches to show off the beauty of the many small stream hollows in the Michaux State Forest. To seek this cache, you will descend on foot on an established forest road into Peach Orchard Hollow in the beautiful Michaux State Forest. The cache container, a camoflaged Lock-N-Lock, should not be difficult to find. Please rehide the container well so it will not be visible to muggles travelling on the forest road.
The terrain rating for this cache is a result of the long climb out of the hollow back to your caching vehicle.
NOTE: GPSr reception in this area can be very erratic. You may need to expand your search area depending on the day's satellite locations, weather conditions, leaf cover, etc. If you don't spot GZ quickly, be patient and move around. GZ is not far off the path.
There is limited parking available along Peach Orchard Hollow Road. Please obey the signs and park legally!
Take time to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Pennsylvania forest while on this hike, but also take the same precautions you would take when entering any forested area on foot. If you seek this cache in warm weather, bug repellant is recommended. ALWAYS WEAR BLAZE ORANGE DURING ANY HUNTING SEASON WHEN SEEKING THIS CACHE. Note that the forest roads used to reach the cache area may be hazardous or impassible during wintry weather.
