Geocache Description:

Half Cache, half Benchmark.

This is a good cache for bicyclists, hikers, runners, even in-line skaters.

I have always liked looking at the old KFAM radio tower. Ever since I was a kid, I've wanted to climb that magnificent structure; never have though, laws, and trespassing, and fear (not of the tower or heights, but those other things)have kept me from realizing that dream.

The tower and the land immediately surrounding it have quite the history. A little bit of information can be found on line, especially maps right to it.

So, find the cache, check out the tower (it is a benchmark), then you can log both of them.
