Two kilometers westward from the center of Barna rises the 457 meters high Szerkö. At the northern exit of the moody village there is a sedimentary rock which shows relation with the Kolyukoldal in Kishartyán (GCRW27).
The cache is under a tree trunk, behind stones
At the northern exit of the moody village there is a sedimentary rock which shows relation with the Kolyukoldal in Kishartyán. The solid cross layered sandstone wall towers over the valley of the Bárna stream demonstrating the form shaping work of the ancient sea currents. There is a strange magic of birch trees with trunks breaking up to several curved limbs and the evergreen junipers among the sparse vegetation on the steep, fast warming stone edges.
The soft stemmed plants are among the tipical species of the grass covered slopes and sand hills.
The colorful whirling of butterflies around the wild pear trees and the shrubs of roses and thornapples flowering in the spring is delightful to the eyes. The Lacerta agilis and the Lacerta viridis are common in the area. This is the only known place of occurrence of the Lycosa singoriensis in the county.
