First, this is a cemetery cache and it is not located near any tombstone or grave marker. As always, if mourners are present, please come back another day. I have placed two other caches within a mile and a half that you could try...or if you are daring, you can try The Commander's Conundrum.
You may have found the Commander's VFW Post and his neighborhood park...but let's see if you can find his church.
As you may notice, there is a large open area in the cemetery adjacent to Mineral Point Road. This is where the first church was built in 1850. Across the street is the present West Middleton Lutheran Church (WMLC) where the Commander attends and is a member of the choir and also presently serving on the church council. We are a welcoming congregation and if you have no church home, come visit us.
This is an extremely easy cache to find and when I did the waypoint average, I got it down to 4 feet. Penquin13 (who got me started caching) could find this as a stop and grab on the way to work or home.
