A family-friendly micro located along the Hoover Nature Trail in rural Johnson County. Further up the trail you will find The Throne of Kings, but this location is more suitable for the peasants. Cache is log-only, so please bring a pen.
The cache is located off the trail approximately 3.0 miles NW of the West Branch trailhead or one-half mile SE of the Oasis trailhead. The Hoover Trail continues undeveloped to the NW of Oasis towards Solon.
Although the cache is accessible via a short walk from Oasis Road, the Lego Crew encourages cachers to bring along their bikes and ride the length of the trail. A peaceful out-and-back ride is just a little over 7.0 miles.
The final approach will require some light/moderate bushwhacking depending upon the direction of your arrival. We encountered some thorny plants and as well as hazards that could poke you in the eye. Hunt this cache at your own risk, and most importantly, have fun.
