The Last Splash

Well, the house hasn't sold yet but its really becoming official the more time passes. We've lived in the valley for the last 16+ years and the last 6 just up the road from this hide but we are moving on. So as the clock ticks down, its customary for the last call to go out and this one will be mine for the valley.

I like my hides to be a nice view, maybe a history lesson, but always like them to be quick grabs to keep the numbers going. This one fits them as best as you can in a small town setting. I placed this one while waiting out a open house at home. I sat watching the gulls for a while with the exception of the highway noise behind me it was pretty relaxing.

Situated in downtown Omro, Scott Park has been home to many things. Omro's pool was here for a number of years before they built the the big park a short distance away. A few years ago Omro made CNN and CNN.COM when the river rose so much it flooded much of the land nearby and nearly all of Scott Park. The island is home to many events all year and the mainland side now has a touching veterans memorial.

A great place to hold family get togethers, go fishing, and let the kids play.

The park has hours, please check the signs at the driveway.
Muggle-o-meter is pegged high on this one.
Cache is winter friendly but I do not know if they plow.

While the original hide contained some erasers, a dice, and a log - don't expect much out of this hide other than a number and my thanks to valley cachers for all the fun the last couple of years!

This may be my last hide in the valley, but you haven't heard the last of me yet!
