GEOCACHES HIDDEN FOR THIS EVENT
We recognize there are folks that do not search for temporary
caches. We recognize there are those that do. However you want to
play the game, that is your decision. Due to the efforts we put
into hiding the temporary caches for this event, we do allow you to
log them here on the event page.
TRACK ONE: DOWNTOWN Our event sponsors have hidden a
series of 15 temporary caches
through the downtown area. These will only be available on
Saturday between the hours of 10 AM – 3 PM. Snow or cold, you
and your family will enjoy these kid friendly hides. Park your car
at any of the downtown streets or parking lots and walk to this
series of caches and/ or use the free trolley service. (Free
trolley runs from 10AM-3PM.) Find them, log them, find them, do not
log them .. whatever, just have fun!
TRACK TWO: AROUND TOWN Around Waukesha, The Tapps &
AuntieNae have 9 virtual geocaches
that highlight more of the historical locations around town.
Special thanks to the Waukesha Landmarks Commission. They are all
"findable” regardless of snow, wind, cold, etc, weather conditions
that are being predicted for tomorrow. Waukesha is a very
historical city and is working hard to retain this. We enjoy
sharing the history through this event but again, find them, do not
find them, log them, do not log them – whatever, just have fun and
discover! You can search these caches anytime
this weekend!
REGULAR CACHES Around Waukesha, there are plenty of
geocaches - be sure to download files prior to coming!
BRING YOUR CAMERA We will have a locationless cache to make
things fun!
COORDINATE DOWNLOADS
Our “crack crew” of ”Coordinate Downloading Volunteers”,
Jeremy, Gr8 Eyes and Lego Lover have offered their services during
the morning check-in from approximately 8:00 AM-9:00 AM and again
for the afternoon Meet & Greet from approximately 12:00-1:00
PM. Thanks to the Wisconsin Geocaching Association for loaning us
the necessary cables to do so!
If you have not found the many geocaches in the Waukesha area,
you will want to load these caches in your GPSr prior to coming as
we will not be offering those in download or handout format.
AFTERNOON MEET AND GREET EVENT - 12:00 noon until 3:00

are most welcome to come and say hello!
