Welcome to the Lake County Demonstration Forest! Experience the
history of this recreational and educational site through the
beautiful and diverse interpretive hiking trails.
This cache was hidden in celebration of National Trails Day and can be found within 100
feet of the Green trail, not far from the North Shore State
Snowmobile Trail. Portions of the trail may be wet in the summer
and snowshoes may be helpful in the winter. We encourage you to
hike the entire 1.2 mile Green trail!
