Drive-by cache on US-85.
From this spot, on a clear day, you can see over 100 miles. On your average day, you can see out about 60 miles. This is the spot that I like to stargaze with my telescope at night. You can see so many stars, it is truly amazing. Especially when there is a meteor shower.
Another cache on the Beaver Creek Historic Loop. You can pick up the booklet that accompanies the numbered signs at the Newcastle Chamber of Commerce.
Cache is small, no room for a pencil. BYOP!
