Geocache Description:

This cache is the Third of five in the Frog and Toad Series. Arnold Lobel wrote a series of children’s stories during the 1970’s about the adventures of two best friends a Frog and a Toad. The friends were both very different, one was tall and one was short, one dressed fancy and one did not, and one was green and one was brown. Frog and Toad loved adventure, they did everything together. They took walks together and rode bikes together. Frog and Toad would have made perfect geocachers. In the book “Days with Frog and Toad”, Frog and Toad go out to fly a kite. The kite would not fly, but with Frog and Toad working together they get the kite off the ground. Frog tells Toad a scary story about the Dark Old Frog to make him shiver. On Toads' Birthday, Frog gives him a hat. The hat is too big leading Toad to several mishaps until Frog secretly changes out the hat with one that fits. Frog wants to spend a day alone. Toad not understanding why Frog would want to be alone sets out to find him. In the story “Tomorrow”, Toad wakes up to find his house is a mess and has much work to do. Toad pulls up the covers over his head and decides he will do it tomorrow. Frog agrees with Toad that he has much to do. Frog tells Toad he had cloths on the floor and the sink is full of dirty dishes. Toad replies, “Tomorrow.” Frog tells Toad there is dust on the chairs and the windows need scrubbing. Toad replies, “Tomorrow”. Frog tells Toad the plants need watering and Toad shouts, “Tomorrow”. Toad starts to think about all the things that he has to do and Frog tells him that tomorrow will be a hard day for you. “Today I will take life easy”, says Toad. Let’s go Geocaching! All that work will still be there tomorrow. (Not quite the correct ending to the story but it’s more fun this way. Toad actually cleans up the mess and saves tomorrow for an easy day.) Full story in cache, please leave the book for anyone to read. Be sure to log your adventure in finding this fun cache. Regular size container located in Lowry Park. Parking available a short distance from the cache. Plenty of room for trade items. Kudo's to Bottleboy for FTF!
