Piranhas on the Kinni Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Spike007: Time to set this one aside to make room for something new (and not quite so challenging to get to). Thanks to those that visited! This is a nice area to take in the beautiful Kinni.

Geocache Description:

It’s a little known fact that Pirahnas used to be abundant in the lovely Kinnickinnic River, devouring everything in their path. (Ok – that’s actually a bald-faced lie!) But, there is an abundant trout population here in addition to some very beautiful scenery. Enjoy this pretty area.

Plenty of free parking at the coordinates below (and, it’ll put you on the correct side of the river). The walk isn’t far, but you may need to be a bit creative in your approach at certain times of year – going straight at it may not always be the best choice. Please replace as found. Container is a sandwich-size lock container.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to the land manager at the Baldwin DNR office of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager. The DNR Notification form and land manager information can be obtained at: (visit link:http://www.wi-geocaching.com/info/wdnr_geocache_placement_notification_2500-118.pdf)
