Geocache Description:

Every end, is just another beginning, if you are headed in the opposite direction. So it is with this cache! You will start at this dead end and hopefully find what you need to find the cache. Or maybe, this isn't a dead end. It just might be a new roundabout with only one entrance! Please note, the final is about 4 miles away.

This dead end was created about 8 years ago, right about the same time that geocaching began. What is now Burger Lane, used to be County Highway Z which crossed Hwy X at an angle. The other part of the road was the grassy strip that you can see to the southwest. Hamilton Street also intersected here and became the dead end that you can see due west.

May 3rd 2000 was the date that the first geocache was hidden and this geocache is also a tribute to that anniversary! You can find alot of great information about the beginning of this sport at the Original Stash Tribute Plaque geocache, GCGV0P Happy Anniversary to us all!

There is an envelope for each of the first 3 finders. Hope you enjoy starting at the "Dead End"
