Located in the Township of Waupun is the Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Congregation of the Sugsburg Confession.
Built on land bought in 1857 from the Amundson family, the names on the headstones testify to the nationality of the people who supported the church. An interesting fact is that the rafters of the church are the old wooden rails discarded by the nearby railroad, when the Northwestern line replaced them with strap-iron.
Only one service a year is held here, on a special day each June.
The cache is not on nor near any markers. If a funeral is in progress, please return at a later time.
The container is a lock-n-lock, large enough for small trade items.
