Geocache Description:

Another cache along the 3.5 mile Pot Point Nature Trail, along the mighty TN River.

The TN River Gorge Trust is protecting this beautiful area along the TN River for future generations to enjoy. The trail is 3.5 miles in its entirety, and climbs steeply in the second half mile, but the view from Azalea Point is well worth the trek. A brochure can be downloaded at TN River Gorge Trust This series of caches is dedicated to a fellow caching couple (namely NHRAfan and his wife Carol) who also have provided valuable assistance in mapping and maintaining the Cumberland Trail, a loop of which runs along the ridge above here.
