Geocache Description:

Close to the side of the road, but you may have to battle through a little undergrowth or some nettles in the summer. The best place to park is near the church as the road is narrow and is used by large agricultural vehicles.

This is a partly camouflaged standard sandwich box. To begin with it contains items on a 'growing' and agricultural theme.

Nearby is the cairn commemorating the World Ploughing Contest of 1984 and you can easily see why this spot was ideal if you follow the road a little way towards Horncastle. In this cache, starting a journey to New Zealand for the World Ploughing Contest - 2010, is the Tilling Geocoin. This is quite a windy spot at times, but very quiet, so I hope you have time to take a look at the cairn before you leave.
